Celebrating Independence Day 2024 at CCD

Today, the spirit of freedom was felt throughout CCD as our team came together to celebrate 14th August with full enthusiasm. The celebration began with the soulful rendition of the National Anthem, setting the tone for a day filled with patriotism and pride.

Our Executive Director, Muhammad Ather, led the celebrations by sharing heartfelt words about the significance of Independence Day. Following him, Sir. Ehsan Khaliq and Sir. Usama Abrar also expressed their thoughts, highlighting the importance of unity and freedom.

The event was filled with joy, national songs, and the collective energy of the CCD team, making it a day to remember.

Let’s continue to honor the sacrifices of our forefathers and work together for a brighter, stronger Pakistan! ✨

Meeting at Aziz Fatima Hospital

Maqsood Ahmad MD USA Chairperson HCF Chairman CCD visited Aziz Fatima Medical & Dental College on 26th July, 2024. The visit was organized by Hometown Community Foundation HCF and Collaborative Care of Diseases CCD courtosey to Sh. Shahid Aziz Chief Coordinator PPHS. Mian Javaid Iqbal Director Sitara Group of Industries and Aziz Fatima Medical & Dental College were the Chief guest on the occasion.

Dr. Maqsood Ahmad briefed the different projects to the management of Aziz Fatima Medical College. It was a very healthy discussion in detail between two parties.

Mian Javaid Iqbal Director Sitara Group of Industries appreciated the projects and assured full cooperation to serve the Humanity.

Meeting at Abwa Medical College, Faisalabad

Hometown Community Foundation HCF and Collaborative Care of Diseases CCD with the collaboration of Abwa Medical College organized an introductory session on 26th July, 2024. Mian Khurram Iftikhar was the Chief guest on the occasion. Maqsood Ahmad MD USA Chairperson HCF, Chairman CCD briefed the importance of Pakistan Preventive Healthcare System PPHS. He offered the management of Abwa Medical College for collaboration in developing the preventive model of PPHS. Prof Dr Altaf Pervez, Medical Director, Prof Dr Khalid Amin Mian, Prof Dr Mehboob Alam, Dr. Shehzad Farooq, Principal Abwa and members of other facilities were also present on the occasion.

Thank you Dr Muhammad Umar the Vice Chancellor for RMU Rawalpindi Medical University and his team for honoring the NRP Non Resident Pakistanis Washington DC group. RMU international is collaborating with USAID and NRP for launching pilot initiatives to develop the Health sector in Pakistan. These modules will be duplicated at the National level.
